The Tennis for Seniors project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union
It’s a great pleasure to announce that the TK Chromos has approved a European project called Tennis for Seniors over 55 years old. This project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union in the amount of 60.000,00 EUR. TK Chromos is the coordinator of the Tennis for Seniors project, which will implement in the beneficiary countries:
  1. Dejan Malic Tennis Academy; Germany
  2. Udruga gradjana Tenis klub Medjugorje; Bosnia i Herzegovina
  3. Tennis club Domzale; Slovenia
  4. KLC Tennisschule Skugor; Austria
Sport and sport activities are healthy and desirable, but when seniors are concerned, special care should be taken. Seniors will go through the tennis program for six months under the guidance of educated trainers. During the implementation of the program, seniors will be monitored by testing their motor skills and mental health. Apart from the implementation of the sport program, physical activity and healthy lifestyles will be promoted within the European Week of Sport. Additionally, international project meetings are planned so that project leader and their partners exchange experience and good practices in working with seniors and thus further enhance their programs.
